I began at House of Beningborough some months ago, I went in with no expectations, just to have fun, and I have gotten alot more from my experience with them. I have became part of a family, everyone I have met has been wonderful, kind, and inviting. It is a pleasure to belong to House of Beningborough, not only because of the wonderful designs and creations of Bliss, Naiya does a brilliant job, and keeps things light hearted and fun, while still maintaining a professional enviroment to work in. The models instore are friendly, fun and have welcomed me from the start, it is a pleasure to be part of the HOB family!

I have worked for Bliss Beningborough for over a year and even longer with her as a model entering the contests are House of Beningborough (and I am very please to call her a friend) and on no occasion has she ever been unprofessional, but i would say it is unprofessional to accuse someone of posting the message on the Miss VW site with no proof of it. At the moment Bliss hardly has time for SL never mind make petty posts on the AR.
As for having a DMCA against someone we all know what a joke they can be and it would surprise me at who wouldn’t have one.
As for the petty name calling of House of Beninghorror by Frolic, i’m sure he is also very well aware of all the names he gets called and, with us all being grownups (lmao @ this point) just ignore it.
I think Concerned who posted the following on the Miss VW page has hit the nail on the head and a few people should think hard on how they play their game
“As you all know the cyber bullying is a terrible thing and fanning it’s flames will only result in hurt. The best thing to do is ignore it and it will either go away or sound pathetic.”

to OMG , same message I left Anon Freaky on Miss VW page
to Anon Freaky,
My manager Naiya left me a message to come look at this page, who despite all the rumours is not my alt , dont have the time for alts these days…..
If you knew me at all then you would know if I make a comment I always put my name to it , Im not afraid to speak my mind and stand behind it ….
Secondly everything you have said about me is a bunch of horse shit. not even going to defend it.People fall out get over it.
I have huge major rl(yes REAL LIFE) issues at the moment and trust me Frolic Mills, and Miss VW does not even register on my radar, I have no interest in BOSL in any way shape or form so please leave me out of this drama

If anyone has had the horror of working with Wynter Jewell (The biggest copybotter in SL) and now the cruel Bliss Beningborrough I am truly sorry.
No one can be as unprofessional as this lady. Models get out of this damm hole and get a real modeling job!
August 2, 2010 at 11:04 pm
Actually, the models instore don’t create traffic. HOB models are told to register themselves as bots on the SL website when working afk so they don’t generate traffic.
July 30, 2010 at 1:50 am
Excuse me all, but to have models instore is something that ppl do in SL, not in RL. First, it’s a means to generate traffic – for the designer’s store – and it was started by JCNY, some years ago. At that time, if a model needed more exposure in SL, JCNY was the contest to enter.
But now, things are very different. Models instore doesn’t happen in rl. If we want SL fashion to be credible, one of the things to stop would be these instore things. They don’t bring the same exposure as they did like 2 years ago.
One thing designers in SL can do – closer to rl – is to have their own models, only chosen models that they like to represent their brand in ads, magazines and in any fashion show they may do to showcase their collections.
It’s nothing against this or that designer. it’s just that instore modeling doesn’t make sense anymore in fashion industry.

Most of them become famous by exploiting others or being as crude as possible.
Frustrated, envious, hysterical.

I am on runway for HOB this week and I am damn well excited to be there, not only is it a wonderful opportunity but it is also fun, I have met several people that I walked away from runway with them on my friends list, plus tried to aim to be there when they were just so we could chat. And then also you have the chance to earn some of your Linden back? Bliss from what I can tell is a sweet woman. I have not personally met her but for heavens sakes the woman went out of her way to create a dress to auction off exclusively to help a model with her RL situation. Grow a heart. Or at least grow some nuts to show your name. *smiles*

Firstly, your not force to enter the contest! And i belive its not nessacary to buy the expensive gowns in HoB. To enter the contest.
Real models in sl go into the contest for exposer, not for the slightest chance of winning the prize. Good on a resume just like JCNY, remember in that contest the jewellery has to be brought there. Where is the difference??
And no im not one of Bliss Beningborough’d friends list and nor suprisely do i expect to win. I do the contest for the networking i can do. And you can make some great friend up on that stage.
Bliss isn’t the only designer in sl, that requires you to buy dresses for the contest. So take a pot shot at them to. If its good for one designer then its good for all designers. Regeardless if you like them or not.
July 16, 2009 at 10:14 pm
The 50k linden you spend? Well, really you insist everyone buy a new design each week or they cannot enter the contest. So they buy, they pay for photos,
they go on the runway (store advertisers)
They are ejected from group hoping if they try again spend again pose for you again, maybe they will get lucky. There is a 1% chance ladies, kind of like a lottery? Or you are tight with the designer?

Bliss Beningborough is one of the most genuine people I have had the honor to meet in SecondLife. She takes the time to get to know the people who work for her or are participating in her monthly model search. I had the misfortune in life to have a rough patch and she took the time to not only be there as a friend but to try to help make things better, by designing a one of a kind gown and auctioning it. I dont know who Anonymous is but I really think they should get to know someone before they try to make her look so bad in the public eye. Wyntr Jewell was a good person but she was good at what she did and it made people not like her then so be it. The store Bliss doesnt own the rights to the name, there are over 100 people in SL with the name Bliss, why she is being singled out because she is successful is just childish I am sorry. OK off my soapbox now.

Sorry but I can’t understand what the argument is here, maybe I’m missing something?
I entered the competition, and was chosen to ‘work the runway’ and I can assure you that Bliss had never seen or heard of me prior to this. I hadnt even heard of Bliss!!!! So the assumption she chooses just friends, I’m afraid is nonsense.
Another point I’d like to make is that for many of us entering these competitions is more for the fun, experience and exposure we get and not so much the winning. I certainly received a lot of exposure during my week at beningborough and from jcny, both of which were an enormous help in kick starting my career, making friends and learning from other experienced models.
I know nothing about any previous history with this designer so I can’t comment, but what I CAN say is that I have a few of her gowns now and one in particular always has people asking me where I got it and commenting on how lovely it is (which i might add it IS) My sl job means i wear gowns almost constantly so have many, but bliss’s are the ones that receive the most comments. That speaks volumes to little ‘ol me at least.
Bliss, you hang in there girl and keep designing. As for everyone else, no one makes you enter any contest so well …….
I’m gonna shut up now.

Kind of despicable on how people can be so immature and have any so much stupidity… now wonder the people in the RL industry take the sl modeling world as a joke because of those little hatred people who just want to hurt others to make them feel better… Personally have been to bliss’s store and its amazing and one of a kind artist unlike the copycats we have in sl as designers. Brings her own unique and Taste to her clothing and not the Barbie doll clothes that you all call OMG ITS GORGEOUS seriously people in this stupid game need to grow up and learn the contest are voted by the designers choice not the public and not everyone is going to win if not its not a contest plus none of these models in sl can take real criticism because half you all want to be supermodels in sl and divas but then again your lonely people half you gay men and some of you females just wanted to hurt others to make you feel better in RL guess what if she’s wyntir which by god I don’t think its true the let it but I can say this home girl can design . And yeah and those who are probably just sitting down in there computer seeming the next drama to start off with yeah guess again bliss bathes in Vaseline by what I hear of in which means is “drama slips off her like nothing” so please grow up and be the 40 year old you really are because seriously I don’t think u do what u do in sl in RL and leave this woman be she’s doing her contest same as all the designers for traffic and for people to actually have some cash back in the pockets so FYI get a life people of SL and yeah you so called FAMOUS models need to seriously grow up and remember its just a game a virtual world a silly computer game in rl your nothing but a worthless human being trying to hurt others in sl for you can be the head b**tch

Kinda funny that people are flocking to be in this contest when the “designer” is none other than Wyntir Jewell, who is basically trying to make herself seem important. Models beware, she will get your hopes up and then leave SL yet again once she gets her fame and fortune!
May 22, 2009 at 10:22 pm
Hurry! run little lambs purchase the expesive gowns
but be warned wearing the gown is maybe the closest you will get to doing anything with this designer
models are pre chosen-friends or friends of the friend. Buy and wear the clothing because you love them, but do not for one minute be fooled into thinking that you are purchasing an opportunity.
May 14, 2009 at 8:23 am
Designs are perfect. I really enjoy wearing them.
But regarding the contest – I may also be relatively wrong, sorry – I noticed a slight favouritism, since I saw many great entries not considered, mean “artistically greater” in respect of those belonging to “some” of the winners.

I am enjoying the great fashions offered in this establishiment… everyone can feel elegant and fierce. Hats off to one of SL’s top designers….
hugs
