    Hi Brittney,

    First, I would like to apologize for any hard feelings. If we are looking to bring in new models again, feel free to apply 🙂 After I had sent out the applications, I had received an overwhelming response from potential models. Selecting models is a multifactorial process, but there was a very big emphasis on experience, especially on the runway. We no longer have an academy, and we are currently looking for models that will require little to no training. As I mentioned, I received a large number of applications, and chose 20 to call back for auditions, and that number is less than half of what I received. We are definitely not keeping all 20 models, but only a fraction of them, depending on how well they perform during the auditions. We already have a fairly large amount of models, and we can only accept maybe a handful more at the moment, because we want all of our models to be able to work. If we have too many, we risk not having opportunities for everyone. Choosing models and making cuts is a very difficult process, and trust me, it’s not the best feeling when you have to let people down, but we have to be professionals and just keep going. Again, I’m sorry for the disappointment, but keep in mind that you are not always going to get the job. It is part of life, and a big part of modeling, and you can always try again 🙂 Believe me, I’ve been there many times, and so have most models, if not all of us. Keep your head up, shake it off, and keep trying 🙂

    Rarely do I come in here because it seems to cause more trouble than it is worth but this is a necessary evil that needs to be shared with the community. I, like Kimmera of Tres Beau was in the Wedding Expo for the Models with Curves agency this past month. The most poorly organized event I have had the misfortune to be a part of.
    I gave Jennifer Warden the benefit of the doubt in the beginning, there was a lot of management changes and things fell through the cracks. We are human, make mistakes and I had hoped that she would come back and make up for the short comings. She did not.
    I do not know how long the expo actually lasted because Jennifer never told me when to claim my property so my booth sat for 2 weeks. In that time a grand total of 5 people came near my booth, I checked my visitor counter daily and most days no one came. The people who did were people who worked for the agency itself and not just random visitors to the expo.
    I sent Jennifer a notecard asking her to please refund my money. I am not wealthy and when I invest in a project I expect it to be ran properly. It has not been ran with any sort of intelligence. It is not a wonder her management is dropping off the roster. I have yet to receive a reply or acknowledgment to my card though she has been online plenty since I sent it. It is unprofessional and childish and if this is any preview to how she runs her agency I would suggest shopping elsewhere for model representation.

    *sighs* I’ve read this entire thing, and I have to say that, as a model, it’s really disheartening to see the way some of you treat each other. I am signed with MWC, and as a model I have nothing but good things to say about them. They’re loyal to their models, and that makes their models loyal to them. They do a lot of things right, in my opinion.

    Whatever happened with the Wedding Expo and Fuzz, I don’t know for sure. I was scheduled to be a part of the bridal show and it was cancelled at the last minute. It happens, and we move on. I will say, however, that while I don’t for one second fault Fuzz for “following the money” as someone mentioned, I do think that walking away and leaving nothing behind in terms of what had or had not been arranged and agreed for this event showed a distinct lack of personal reponsibility. There may be no “two-week notice” requirement to leave an SL job, but right is right. No matter how much I despised a former employer, I’d certainly never burn that bridge because one never knows when the bridge may need to be crossed again. Other than that, I’d have to say I thought Fuzz was an excellent show coordinator and producer, and some of the best shows I’ve done have been under her guidance. I don’t think anyone could ever say she doesn’t know her stuff and do it well.

    As for everyone else… I have the utmost respect and admiration for Jennifer, Lacie, Kimmera, Nave, Fuzz, and many others I’ve seen slapped around in this thread, and I’d really like to see the nasty mudslinging come to an abrupt end.

    As far as your Missing link suggestion goes the search for the famous “Missing Link” is still going on today in an attempt to verify and justify the Theory of Evolution, but the so called “Missing Link” has not been found yet and I doubt it will be found in SL. So it’s been said on the internet and we know no one is misinformed on the internet. Right???

    Please leave me out of contexts as it appears. I DO NOT Slander people, nor do I want to be put in a bad light. But I would like to address the fact I should take my money and run like “Hell”.

    Work is work weather you think it is hard or not. When you go to work for 15.00 an hour and work 40 hours you expect that pay. When you get your check and it is for 7.50 an hour you are a bit shocked and a bit taken aback. In that situation you decide what to do. I did what I felt was right and NEVER ONCE bashed anyone or slandered a name. I am a professional. I work hard in RL and SL. I don’t wish someone to badmouth what they don’t understand.

    I judged one of their events once and was horrified that Jennifer called most of the girls in her agency, models. They were far beyond repair.

    Who cares if Jennifer was left scrambling to get things done. yeah we’ve all been there, but we do it professionally and quietly and move on.

    MWC is an agency I hope doesn’t last through the year, but i cant call it an agency.

    I have never, ever, claimed to have AgencyReport Zepp in my back pocket. As I’ve stated before I am a guest in his/her home and I’m subject to his/her rules. If s/he wants me to STFU it couldn’t be easier to get me to do that. I can be civilized. I’m easy to deal with.

    As far as TnT goes, TnT is owned by, and has always been manged by Tia Ryba. Tia was very kind to me. I learned a great deal from her about modeling agencies and the economics of running one well. I left TnT some time ago to concentrate my attention on things that are more intriguing to me personally. Tia is concentrating more on the TnT modeling school and less on doing shows these days. If you know me so well you’d have known that lil factoid.

    As far me being a model, I’m not. Never claimed to be. I could be if I invested the time and $Lindens, pros like Ricoracer Flux, Mikey Batriani, Apollo Call, Burly Tigerpaw, Aspen Parx, Dragonbird Amiot, Liam Netizen, Seth Diabolito, Rod Insippo and a slew others do on practicing and getting it down pat. Thankfully I don’t have to do that to do what I do. The question is this can they do what I do? Maybe…………… Maybe not.

    WOW! I feel famous LOL! Just a quick note to set the record straight. Fuzz did not take me away from COF and I did not resign from COF because I wasn’t paid.

    I don’t see how my name appears here when I’m not even involved with MWC except for hosting the Designer’s Challenge, which in my eyes was a huge success and a lot of fun. Jennifer and Fuzz were nothing but professional with me.

    Once again we get a very long-winded response from Nave as yet another personality. This is so that he can keep his word that Nave and “Doc Holliday”, have left the building. So now we get a picture of Doc Holliday posting as “1800gunslinger”. How many personalities does this jerk have? Has he sought medical attention for this multiple personality disorder?
    I doubt it, but attention is certainly what this a-hole is after!

    I laugh as I read his raves, trying very hard to sound like fact, but I know that he has his “facts” wrong yet again.

    Reality is, this guy knows nothing about what goes on in the agencies he likes to trash, and he is very adept at spouting lies and starting rumors and making claims he can’t back up.

    He also knows very little about fashion in SL period.

    I have never seen him walk in a show, and didn’t his agency TNT go belly up?He isn’t much of a COO then I guess is he?
    Wonder why he hasn’t trashed them or included them in his rants and tirades?

    I know why… the owner of that agency is still in his good books, and to trash them might put his head on the chopping block !

    Anyone NOT in his good books, or who has caught him lying and cheating and dumped his sorry a** at the curb is in his bad books though, and his petty revenge is to trash and lie all he can to try to bring them down to his level.

    FYI … I was in the Phantom show and I know for a fact that all Fashion Palace contributed to that show was some models. Not only did Lacie put that entire show together herself, but she also paid her models and the Fashion Palace models to boot!!!!

    Also, Sparkie has never drawn a salary at Catalyst of Fantasy , nor , in fact, has Lacie herself. That would be error number two.

    As for Jennifer Warden, I have worked for her as well, and I have nothing but praise for her. She is the consummate professional and I would work with her every chance I get.

    And who gets paid 5,000L for writing a script?
    Dixie got 2,500 L ….she should take that money and run like the wind!

    The going rate for writing a script is 500L, and that is what the top agencies pay.

    Clearly, Jennifer was taken advantage of here and that reflects badly on Dixie not Jennifer. I will take a note of the name though.

    Nave /Doc Holliday/ 1800gunslinger /DesPlaines Waverider and whatever other personalities are lurking inside of you… take note.

    Hello again

    I’d like to clear up a few misfacts.

    Firstly, yes apparently I was sent a single NC about the shows, whether it indeed was recieved is questionable, it is SL afterall. I recieve on average about 100 NC’s daily, chances are I missed it. That I take full resposibility for.

    Now, lets discuss how things were handled…

    I was a top dollar sponsor of this Fiasco…now I am CEO of Tres Beau, I too have had to step in and handle things that were suddenly dropped on me, I do this all the time, it’s part of being a CEO.

    Had I had a PAYING sponsor in an event that I was hosting and I had not gotten a response to an important NC sent, I had contacted them to be sure they had recieved that NC. This was not done, in fact, I had to contact them asking about the show. I was then told that I wasn’t going to be in it..now as becoming a sponsor, I did so for exposure to my bridal salon..aka, participation in the shows, etc…this is why I PAID to be a sponsor. No one ever contacted me, I had to contact them. Might I also add that I am a sponsor of MANY shows, expos and contests, all which seem to value that I am and have kept in contact.

    Now, as to the unprofessional behaviour, I do not at any time think using a foul mouth is professional, and after being be sworn at by both Jennifer and AriadnaDragon, well, I rest my case. At no time is that neccessary. I have also recieved several NC’s concerning others dealings with the two and as mentioned there was alot of swearing and extremely rude dealings.

    So again, I know who I will work with and who I will not, MWC is on my list as never ever. I felt I needed to make this known to protect others that perhaps haven’t dealt with situations such as this.

I don’t waste my time trying to figure out who the person is or how many people there are. I read what they have to say. If YOU don’t choose to take it seriously who cares. Others do.It’s quite silly really to say that using a fake name is better than the name anonymous seeing how all are basically anonymous.

    Fuzz doesn’t follow orders. What orders?

    BFD – fire her then. We believe you. Fuzz sucked. The CEO tag comes with responsibilities as well as powers. So suck it up and take your medicine with a smile.

    The CEO is typically the highest-ranking individual at a firm, the top boss. In the case of MWC, its owner, Jennifer Warden is the CEO. She’s the one whose “wallet” the buck stops at. She got ALL the money not Fuzz.

    We all know and accept that the CEO gets to wear that tag because THEY PAY THE BILLS. So they make the rulez. The CEO also sets the style, mission, tone, tempo and physical environment for the agency. A modeling agency lives and dies by the reputation and wallet of its CEO. Many have failed recently: UVogue and TOMA are recent examples. Others are teetering. It’s Darwinian. New ones emerge to take the old one’s places and life continues.

    If an individual chooses not to abide by any given agency’s rulez they have the option of leaving. This concept is called, “right to work” The employee has the right to leave at any time for any reason or no reason at all. No notice is required of the employee. The flip side of this is that the agency has the right to release a model or an employee, at any time, for any reason, or no reason at all, if they choose to do so. Fuzz chose to leave MWC and join Fashion Palace. Sparkie and Glitter left Ms Beningborough’s employ when they weren’t paid in a timely manner. Seems like a valid reason to move along to me. Meanwhile Colby and Talyia are attracting some stellar staff to their tautly, organized enterprise by communicating early and often. Fashion Place was good enough for Catalyst of Fantasy to turn to for a well done Phantom of the Opera show not that long ago. When Sparkie and Glitter observed that it could be fun again I suppose it sparked their thinking and catalyzed the desire to be somewhere glitzier, huh???

    If an SL modeling agency owner can afford trustworthy, responsible, empowered help then they can accomplish more then they could alone. They just have to share the money with their staff. It’s not wrong for that staff to “follow” the money and sell their time and effort to the highest bidder. That is called “free enterprise “ and anyone who implies that it’s wrong for an individual to act in their own self interest by sniffing out the money, is being specious. Happens a lot in SL, that speciousness crap slinging.

    Kimmera stated that she was treated very professionally by Fuzz. Fuzz left MWC. Not a big deal. Kimmera didn’t sign on with Fuzz she signed on with MWC. It sounds like Kimmera’s issue was caused by lack communication on the part of MWC’s staff and lack of organization following Fuzz’s departure. The CEO is the risk manager of the company. Jennifer’s not having a back-up plan in place in the event of a disruption in the ranks is not Kimmera’s problem. Kimmera asked for her money back and after a “discussion” Jennifer paid back her money. So, I have no idea who is telling the “whole” truth. I don’t really care either. When a designer as respected as Kimmera Madison is fired off enough to post her gripe at AgencyReport it gets my attention though.

    If any of the other designers who paid to participate in the Wedding Faire speak up and share their experiences with Jennifer and ArandnaDragon Writer we may get a more complete picture and decide whose story includes the most germane facts. This is one of those instances when reading am “unedited” chat transcript would be very enlightening.

    There have been other instances where Jennifer wasn’t entirely forthcoming, MWC has been embroiled in controversy over $$$$ before despite her claims that the MWC reputation is untarnished. There was the Dixie Halfpint script debacle not that long ago. Jennifer agreed to pay Dixie 5000L$ to write a script for a show, Script writing is hard work and requires good English language skill which Dixie unquestionably has. Dixie delivered the script on time and then Jennifer paid her 2500L$ saying that it wasn’t a “BIG” show and wasn’t worth 5000L$.Dixie took it and kept her mouth shut but some of us know what was done to her and remember it vividly as an example of dealing in “bad” faith.

    Model With Curves one shining moment was the recent Designer Challenge event that Potnia Theas of Ora Trei handily won. What we don’t know is who originated the idea of the contest. Was it Jennifer or was it Fuzz or was it Kat Msarko? Even more important is what agency will sponsor the next one of these fun events?

    I just wanted to say that I am behind Jennifer 100%.

    The one in charge of the event leaving w/o notice and not giving any notes or records is enough to make any show or event a mess!

    Jen did the best that she could to fix things, but was left scrambling at the last minute. We have -all- been there.

    It is not fair to discount all the terrific events she has created because of situations out of her control.I have always known Jennifer to be a complete professional and her events make headlines!

    It is my opinion that we need to take all things into account before we pass judgement, and we need to remember that it could have just as easily been any one of us that was left to scramble at the last minute.

    At CEO level, you depend on a ton of people around you to get the jobs done. You have very limited control and you must simply trust that they will do what they say and follow through to the end. If they don’t…that isn’t on you but on them.

    Everything MWC has done up to this point has been professional and expertly executed.

    Don’t discount MWC or Jennifer Warden. They will continue to do the amazing shows and events that they are known for !

    Personally, I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

    Hello everyone, at first i was not going to respond to this, hoping this whole nightmare would go away, but it has not so i am writing to say my peace.

    First MWC under fuzz lennie organized a wedding expo, Fuzz was my GM and she had free range to do what was good for MWC, so she went about her way, making deals, and getting vendors, a week before the expo was to begin fuzz quit, now the reasons why is not important, what is immportant is, when fuzz quit she didnt forward me anything, i know nothing of deals she made, I was really left in the dark, but as i know i have accepted payment from many vendors i proceeeded to contact each vendor, making them aware of what was going on and did my best to honor each and every deal made by fuzz, and if i couldnt i quickly refunded the vendors if i couldnt please them.

    Now when it comes to Kim coment, after this whole thing went down i did all i could to solve the problem, 1. refunded her fully, 2. tried my best to fix what was wrong, in the end i couldnt, but after the convo, i contacted zoey, a exec assistant here at MWC, and she copy and paste me the transaction where she had IN FACT contacted kim in reference to her fashion show by dropping her a NC as we did to each vendor, I have this transaction for anyone that wants to see, So the whole reason kim got mad, cause we was unprofessional, its not true, we did what we needed to do.

    Now moving on, I would be the first to admit this wedding expo has been a disaster It wasnt even my idea to being with, and never did i imagine that I would lose the person who was organizing it, all I could do as in RL and make a immpossible situation work, I will say this I believe i have given 100% to trying to do a successful event, in the end there was nothing I could do to make it better, But I did what I could, I didnt give up, thinking this is just a game, I lost many sleepless nights, Took major hits to the reputation that i work so very hard to build, and shed more than a few tears. Now i ask, if i was scamming anyone would i even care??? As for anita comment, all i can do is LOL because this “Model” is a joke, trash us and walk our runway at the same time, you all form your opinion about that….I will say this, this has never been no drama between me and fuzz in local chat or in such a way that models working with us was effected by, I am sole owner of MWC nobody but me foots the bills to keep this up and running, so concerns and problems was keep to private IM’S or meetings that we had, so i dont know what she is referring to, but than again she has proven herself to be dishonest by trashing MWC one day and the very same week walking our runway.

    In conculsion, I did my very best to pull this off, but it was like building a house but not having the blueprint, and my very best was not good enough. But please know I had given it my very best, never once thinking of this as a game, but as a business, a business that people sent me money to produce something for them, Thats what i did, could it have been better?, yes, but sometimes our most sincere attempts leads to failure.     there is a place for anonymity, and pseudonymity, @ AgencyReport. CEOs of modeling agencies in SL tend to be powermad so not appearing on their radar as someone who will stand up for herself, is prolly a smart thing for most of you. but, distinguishing one anonymous poster from another is a pain in the ass. the personal attacks, no matter how subtle they are, as Anita says, are a waste of time and bandwidth. some are pretty funny though. so come up with a pseudonym and you’ll be taken more seriously.

    Everything you said was rude and constitutes trashing them. And entering the contest after doing so makes you two faced.If you dislike them so much don’t go back. You aren’t wanted there.

    It’s a photo contest with a runway component. But if you disliked the experience at that agency, logic says you wouldn’t go back. Wouldn’t apply for things and compete on their runway.But gl in the comp after trashing them on AR.

    I entered because it is a contest – and I am a model. Simple as that. I hold no grudges against them, i just personally did not like the experience I had with them.

    Thank goodness someone finally said it. Kim I am sorry you had to deal with such unprofessional disorganization. I was a model with MWC for a whole week before I quit. I quit because i felt there was to much drama between Jennifer and Fuzz. They were not even on the same page ffs. Practices were a mess and there was constant bickering. Then I found out to how they screwed over three very respected members of the fashion community and very close friends, I most certainly was not pleased. Good Luck is all I have to say to these gals.

    Hi There

    I am not usually one to post on Forums, But I have to post about this. I recently was invited to be a part of the Models With Curves/MWC Wedding expo. I was approached in a very professional manner by Fuzz Lennie, she set me up with my booth and my sponsorship…shortly after, Fuzz left the group, from what I understand due to professional differences, Fuzz did not go into detail, I didn’t ask. From what I have heard, I didn’t need to ask

    Next I was approached by Jennifer Warden, CEO of Models with Curves. She had no idea what booth I had arranged for, which wasn’t a problem, she offered me a booth next to the runway. I had paid to be one of the major sponsors, there were a limited number of paid sponsors at the level that I paid for.Jennifer knew nothing of what had been been agreed upon with me..as CEO, I found that odd.

    Jennifer and I then discussed the Fashion Show, they didn’t have many wedding gown vendors so she offered me an exclusive show, I told her I could supply them with 16 gowns. She was thrilled and said she’d be in contact….I waited

    This conversation was held on January 31st, today is the 16th of February. I had not heard a word about the show,I IM’d Jennifer last night and recieved no response..no biggie, it’s SL, she may not have gotten the IM. Today I contacted AriadnaDragon Writer, she proceeded to tell me that since I had not responded to the Notecard sent I wasn’t in the show…I did a search, thinking perhaps I missed the Notecard..I found only the initial application. Nothing referring to the show. I found this interesting, one of the biggest sponsors, one of the only dress designers, definately the most extablished..not to say the others don’t do wonderful work…No Notecard, no IM’s. What I did recieve was a whole lot of attitude and rudeness.

    I then contacted Jennifer again, this time she responded…she has refunded me for the record, I have removed my things from this expo.

    During my wait for info, I started recieveing Notecards and IM’s from other vendors…no advertising was done for this event, others had tried to contact the owner, the staff, no responses were made. One was ejected after asking what was being done to advertise, after never getting one response from the owner or any of the staff…Oddity again

    My closing comment here is this..I don’t speak out alot, but feel the need to do so. There are many in here that seem to think that taking others money, whether it be Lindens or RL money is ok to do and then do not follow through on what was promised. Be wary of what you pay for, get in writing what they promise, hold them to it.

    As for Models With Curves/MWC, Jennifer Warden and AriadnaDragon Writer. I keep a list of who I will not work with again, they have been added, and if someone asks my oppinion, I give it. I do not slander, but will give my oppinion if asked.

    As to those that see this is as slander, I have the transcripts and the agreements made. I felt the need to bring it to the attention of those looking for information, and this seemed to be a good place to do it.

    For those of you that do a professional job and keep your promises, give it your best…
