So I started working at this ballroom I was excited to start there I was told by the owner i was going to be getting paid most nights I didn’t make anything in tips some night’s were dead so I was ok with this cause I was going to be getting paid, the end of the week comes and goes I heard this person was sick so I let it slide then another week came and gone no payment I was getting a little annoyed my friend nezzy was about the only one who would tip myself and the dj 2 months go by no pay I send in my ncs on my hrs everything I can to see some payment and nothing. I want you all to be cautious if you go working at Charlston Grand Ballroom. The owner/owners don’t pay you when they say they Will….. my rant is over thank you.

        • Anonymous Says:

Charleston Grand Ballroom is a death trap and money hungry establishment. All they care about is making money in any and every way they can and if they don’t make money, they will ruin everyone else’s hard work. Seeing as they completely invalidated their recent pageant which many girls worked very hard on and got everything taken from them. It’s ridiculous. Charleston Lace/Grand Ballroom is a laughing stock and not worth a diddly.

    • Ava Jhamin Says:

L’Amour Model Management if your going to add…..add it correctly….you are a lil confused aren’t you…and come out of hiding if your going to call people bullies and names….because hiding truly makes you the bully.

      • confused about where to go Says:

pardon i’am not going to say anything i simply wanted to actually find out information about the agency wow!!! I thought this was a sight for model to find information about particular places not be picked on for adding a name.

  7. Showtoons1239 Zaks Says:

    Hello Agency Report People,

For people who don’t know me I’m Zaks CEO/Owner of NDD. I think there’s a few things that need to be set straight. NDD was created to help models to reach their own personal goals because each person is unique in who they are and what goals they want to reach. My staff chosen for NDD was based on their skills, who they are as a person inside, and a shared vision of helping models. I’m proud of my team who I consider as a family and thank them for their hard work. I noticed there’s some confusion on NDD and what it offers. Please let me break it down, NDD has 3 branches, the Agency, the Academy, and the Fashion Followers which offers free classes to anyone who wants to join. The Academy was created to help with the upkeep of the free classes given and to create a stronger base foundation to models who wants to build/grow as models or travel other paths they wish to take. The Agency of NDD was created for runway models and has openings for possible position for future graduates from NDD Academy. Though NDD hasn’t officially launch the Agency, we’ve been happy to see the support of wonderful top models and models of the SL fashion world to joining up with the Agency. I know here on Agency Report you are allowed to share your opinions and I’m glad it allows people to share their points of views, however what I’m sharing now are facts about NDD and how I picked my team. If you have any further questions about NDD or just want to get to know me personally please just say hello. I look forward in meeting you and hearing your questions. Have a lovely day.

    Sincerely,
    Showtoons1239 Zaks
    CEO/Owner of NDD

    • Anonymous Says:

Really? Which models are “joining up?” It’s convenient that your group profiles show NO MEMBERS! What a joke you all are and you can paint yourselves any way you like, the proof is in your resumés or lack there of. With the exception of possibly Sessie16, NOT ONE other “employee” is qualified for any of what you’re touting over there at NDD!!! Period. Let the readers check you all out and they’ll decide for themselves.

      • hmmmm +++ Says:

        resume??..its SL you clown
Qualified?…sorry what on earth are you on about?
Is there some SL modeling qualification?
You will answer experience no doubt. I have seen some of your so called super models, there was one joker called Underworld or something and with his long white hair he looked like some kind of gay vampire off a Stargate episode. So please give me a break!
Ano you really do need to sort your anger issues out, and also remember this is SL
If someone has a problem with NDD or anywhere then they can go elsewhere

I am also of the belief that you get what you pay for, and NDD is free, so enough said. However as it is free then stop whinging on about it, Zaks isnt hurting a soul, and tbh although I wouldnt count her as a friend anymore I dont see a problem with what she is doing and jolly god luck to her. Its more than you are doing

Not all models in SL want t wear wierd makeup and pretend they are diva or super models, most do it because to them is fun, or because they see it as an art form. So Ano get over youself and stop being so nasty, you are nothing more than a bully and a troll, and have high opinion of yourself. Keep taking the tablets, they will work eventually

        • Anonymous Says:

It’s funny, you voice your opinion and suddenly you’re “angry.” LOL. I know I know every opposing opinion, therefore deems that person a troll or a bully. Let me clue you in “hmmmm+++,” if SL modeling resumés weren’t important in this virtual world, then why does every model put one on their profile, including the staff of NDD. Apparently, SOME people think they’re important. You sound as dumb as I assume you look. Which part is free? The Fashion Followers part or the Academy? Do YOU even know? You’re not very intelligent and don’t really add much to the conversation. You seem to know an awful lot about various conditions and treatment methods….heal thyself first!

          • yaddayadda Says:

I don’t know why anyone is giving this NDD place any attention at all Who cares about them really? If there only claim to fame is Sessie16 that’s sad on its own merits.Who is Sessie16 anyway?

          • hmmmm +++ Says:

Voicing an opinion is absolutely fine, and everyone is entitled to do that
However personal attacks which you seem to revel in are really silly
NDD isnt RL its SL..it doesnt matter what they do or dont do. Nobody is going to die
I have nothing to do with the place, and wont go, but thats my choice, and I certainly wouldnt come here all faceless and cowardly like you do with your childish put downs.

Did I research NDD?..no, caveot emptor applies..and I choose to go where I please. In fact if I want to go somewhere. I go..and then make up my own mind. Maybe you are the type of individual who researches placs before they splash out $20..I dont…I go, if I like I stay, if I dont like I dont stay. What sort of saddo reads profiles of group members..for goodness sake, you really need to go out more.

Resume are something you use in RL for RL work. Give me a break you muppet

In RL I am sure NDD/MVW/Avnue etc etc wouldnt last 5 minutes, just like most models in SL would never find themselves on a RL runway or in a photoshoot. Its just a dream for many.

Maybe you just need to relax a little, none of this really matters, just think, if you were to express how you feel to your friends in RL (I assume you have some..poor things) they would probably look at you in amusement.

          • Anonymous Says:

@ hmmmm+++ there are multiple people posting here and I suspect more than one under “anonymous.” So who are you speaking to? You’re here calling people cowards for expressing themselves and that’s exactly what this web/blog was set up for. If you’re so brave and above it all, then I have two questions for you. First, why come on here under the tag, “hmmmm+++” and not your SL avi name? Second, why are you on here at all running your big mouth? If you don’t care and think it’s all one big glorified video game, why are you here on a blog devoted to Second Life modeling antagonizing people and bragging about yourself? Why do you even care and then keep coming back to answer with, “you really need to go out more?” You accused people or someone in “reveling” in “personal attacks” and then come on here more than once and do it yourself a lot!!! Pretty hypocritical and childish, I mean considering you’re so above it all.

          • hmmmm +++ Says:

yeah its not nice having a taste of your own medecine is it?
The nice thing about bullies is they cry the loudest when it shoved back at them

          • Anonymous Says:

You’re the biggest bully of them all!!! You must be Ava 😀 I always have a nice day!

  8. Anonymous Says:

I know Ava and she’s full of hot air!!!! She’s in love with her own hype, hence her endless and painful pictures, she continuously subjects us too on Flickr. Look for yourselves and you’ll see why she too, is a huge nobody. She’s so bitchy, most won’t work with her. She “mentored” Nickel Sparrowtree. Oooo anyone even know who the hell that is? No. Now she thinks she can teach? OMG what is SL modeling coming to? People need to get a grip!

    • hmmmm +++ Says:

Mentored Nickle Sparrowtree?…wow she must be a retard then!
Nickle is self centred nasty and spends on her mummies credit card
She did one show where a talent is requiered. Her talent as to be in a wheelchair and pushed it to the top of some contraption she had built. The funny thing is when she go to the top, she did dance to some wierd song, and the in her description got all he fact wrong, I think she must have copied and pasted from that fountain of knowledge that is Wiki
Nickle also suffered from a beathing complaint, just like Candlicious Forster who died recently. Lucky her rl mother came into SL (you know like you would 2 days after your daugter passes way) to tell everyone, and no doubt Nickle..ooops sorry Candilious enjoyed reading all the nice words written about her, by the kind people who were duped. I for one am still waiting for her mother to reply to me in email so I can make a donation to the funeral home where her burial was announced. The mother who was so quick to announce has suddenly gone silent…hmmmm strange that

There are some seriously mixed up people in SL.

The ones who genuinely suffer dont broadcast how ill they are, and often only let on just how ill they are when they are having particulary bad days. People who feign illness to be popular need to take a long hard look at themselves…!!!

There are good people in SL and although I dont like Frolic Mills when I discovered he had donated proceeds from the opening to fashion week he held recently to a Parkinsons charity I had to applaud him. He had done this with no publicity, so he cant be all bad. I still dont like MVW but thats my problem, I dont go, but good luck to all those who do

@Ava, you just wrote, “Now Janet Brink yes CWS and I took her away from that hell hole that just want their hands on unsuspecting new models money….tisk tisk.”

Confusing, are you claiming here that you “took” Janet away from CWS? You don’t write very well, so it’s hard to understand what you mean. Please clarify.

@Belladonna, you wrote, “Just cause someone goes to (in my opinion) a bad school doesn’t make them a bad model.”

Are you referring to Janet Brink in this statement? Honey, she did a lot more than just attend “school” at CWS. She dropped thousands on buying all that crap she “won.” And just for the record Ava, Janet just competed over the weekend in ANOTHER stupid a$$ CWS competition, so you didn’t take anyone away from squat!!!!

Just because you people get caught up in your own comments and can’t keep YOUR facts straight don’t take it out on the rest of us. @Belladonna, nice back peddling there girlfriend. You’re pretty pathetic as COOs go, I have to say. @Ava, I was being honest about you, but I didn’t sugar coat anything either…..NOT MANY PEOPLE LIKE YOU!!!! You’re obnoxious and nasty.

  10. Ava Jhamin Says:

Well lets take this one step at a time shall with Nave giggles just a wild guess. I have worked with Aradia at my agency as well as in other endeavors and she is a fine model, works hard, always on time, and always willing to go that extra mile. She could teach for me anytime. And again have you worked with her oh one that likes to stay Anonymous…..I think not…so again anyone to me also who doesn’t have the huevos to state what they feel as them…well just doesn’t hold water with me. Now Janet Brink yes CWS and I took her away from that hell hole that just want their hands on unsuspecting new models money….tisk tisk. Again Janet is a model for me and could teach anytime she would like. As far as Show’s agency again I not only have worked with her but she was my model director at L’Amour. I don’t believe in doing anything for free and my time and what I teach is worth every penny. But if she chooses to do then I am no ones judge.

And as far as me being fav anything I could give a rats ass. I do what I love and I tell the truth. If someone doesn’t like it oh well to bad so sad. Jealousy spurns idiots….And all I care about truthfully is my family, my models, and to always do unto others and I would have do unto me…May Anonymous you should try that instead of coming in here and talking crap. Think if you put all this negative energy into something positive…WOW you could probably light up New York City when they had a power outage….lol nuff said…..

    September 20, 2012 at 10:53 am

@ Aradia, just the fact you broke all of SL modeling down to switching skins, etc…and a glorified game that ANYONE can basically do, says a lot about you, your credentials or lack there of and your a basic approach to SL modeling. In other words, not an attitude or professionalism I or any aspiring model should support. Which brings me to my next question, is NDD a business or a “free academy?” It’s a little hazy. On the one hand NDD has apparently gone to the trouble of appointing a COO or CFO as Bella has pointed out,

“I am Chief Operating Officer. For those who don’t know Business 101 the COO handles the business side of things. Getting schedules worked out, making sure people get paid in lieu of a CFO. Doing the marketing, contacts sponsors. My 10 plus years in business and another 20 plus years in the arts in RL makes me qualified for THAT.”

    However as Aradia commented,

“Yeah, I’m an instructor at NDD. I offer FREE Classes.”

So which is it? Is NDD a charity or a modeling academy that charges a fee? Hmm, confusing. Now as to the screaming and hollering over people to publish their names on here (LMAO) that falls on deaf ears for obvious reasons. If you’re stupid enough to come on here and publish YOUR name well, that’s YOUR personal choice. Most don’t and don’t HAVE TO!!!

Let’s assume for a moment NDD is a “business” as laid out by Bella, doesn’t a new business have the basic professional acumen to cover themselves and the reputation of their organization from the outset? I would think if 98% of SL modeling abhors, rejects and disassociates itself from the likes of CWS, then any “new” modeling business would factor that in when making “executive” decisions. Wasn’t it Bella who came on here a few months ago to add to the list of complaints about the shady nature of that place and how awful it is for new models. Wasn’t it she, who pointed out and further informed people the dangers of getting mixed up in a place like that? So I guess I’m wondering as a COO, why then she wasn’t immediately concerned about Janet Brinks current standing and affiliation with CWS? Why as COO of a new company on SL, she and the CEO didn’t have the spine to say, “us or them?” When you’re in charge of a business you may like a person well enough, but don’t you have a professional responsibility to your customers and clientele to give them the best? To give them a staff above reproach and a good experience? Sometimes when you’re in charge of a business you have to make the tough decisions and I would think this would be paramount on an executive’s list, when making up a staff roster. In researching some of these individuals profiles, specifically Ms. Brink I’m wondering why she would attend MBMA and end up at a bottom-feeder place like CWS? Usually it’s the other way around. Isn’t that moving in the WRONG direction? So that’s what Ms. Brink took away from all of her “other” training, was to buy a crown and a title? Not sure that sort of judgment makes for a good “instructor.” Just saying. Sorry if this doesn’t make everyone happy to hear the negatives, but I thought this site was here to bring up valid questions and to be honest. Not just to white-wash everything and blindly support whoever feels like getting into model handling and instruction.

@ Ava, you have been a devoted and dedicated model for years. You have CONSISTENTLY paid your dues, with your pictures and your blog. Are you the MOST popular? No. Are you loved and adored by all? No. That said, you have had a long standing history of helping other models, giving sound advice and you have been an SL modeling faithful. Kudos to you and I wish you and your endeavors the best of luck.

    • Aradia Mistwood Says:

well thank you Anon for breaking it down for us. I’m sorry you don’t think I have the appropriate attitude, but you are, again, anonymous and a nobody. The agencies that have hired me, LIKE AVA, appreciate my candor and bluntness. I dont sugar coat it.
However yes, I offer free classes at NDD. I DO. Now i”m not sure what the other instructors do, but myself. I can’t see someone getting scammed into paying 10K on learning how to set up a blog and take 1024X1024 photos.
And Ava, I love ya doll. Keep up the great work.

  12. Linda Says:

How dare anyone insult Ava as she is one of the most experienced models that I have ever known. Maybe those of you who are doing the insults just don’t have have it takes…..Josie Claven

    • Anonymous Says:

Linda, maybe you aren’t aware of the great SL models that are working. I am and I can assure you that Ava not one of the most experienced. In fact, I had never heard of her name before. It’s probable that you guys are too young in the fashion world of SL, so Ava is the most experienenced you’ve met. You need to fly higher. Meet and actually watch SL models that are represented by Avenue, by Mad Agency just to name a couple of the best Model Agencies in SL.

  13. Ava Jhamin Says:

Well I have no problem putting up L’Amour Model Management on Agency Report. I take what I do very very serious and actually give models their money’s worth…..I also am their teacher not for the course of the training but for life. I support my models in every way I can. Shows, other graduations, everything…..why because I care thats why.

    So go for it anyone

    Ava Jhamin CEO

  14. Question everything! Says:

Ok so, looking into NDD further I was taken aback by one a few things….First, there aren’t ANY really seasoned or super experienced models on staff there. Second, one of the staff members is still a CWS Kool-Aid drinker, Ms. Janet Brink. That right there killed any credibility they have!!! Sorry folks, but I think this kind of stuff needs to be taken seriously. Unsuspecting participants, come on to SL and fall into the hands of non-professionals versus professionals. This is expressly what this blog is for, to advise and warn others. That’s not to say there isn’t any talent at NDD, but I would have been more inclined to give a positive assessment had there been NO LINK to CWS and that fraudster Anrol.

    • Boo for cws Says:

I couldn’t agree more. Anyone who supports pay to play pageants needs a reality check!

    • NDD really? Says:

Seriously? This NDD is a freaking joke!!! The ONLY one on the list of “employees” who warrants ANY merit at this point is, Sessie16. The rest? Gimmie a break!!! Are they kidding us with this academy? What has ANYONE of them accomplished on the grand scale that qualifies them to instruct, direct or for that matter even own a modeling academy? This is the problem with places like this. I can appreciate an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to teach the business, but when you haven’t got the personnel and resume to back it up, it becomes a laughing joke!!! Please anyone reading this and choosing a place to learn, DO NOT GO TO NDD!!!!! Pick one that has an established reputation and staff that is resoundingly experienced. Not some silly little upstart thing, where a group of marginal models decided they actually knew something about anything!!!!

Wasn’t it Belladonna Wexhome all over the CWS’ page on here complaining about training and didn’t she say she was Showtoons’ mentor? Wth? ROFL at the insanity in SL modeling!!!!

      • Anonymous Says:

Sessie16? is she 16? lmao who is this person?

      • Aradia Mistwood Says:

if you’re going to have a crack at someone, at least have the guts to sign it.
What has anyone who’s done anything in SL accomplished on a “Grand” Scale? Please. SL is a computer based game. If you’re looking for “real” modeling experience, you’re looking in the wrong damn place. I’ve walked a real life runway. I may not have accomplished anything in Second Life as a model, but I’ve walked real runways. Does that make me anything? Hell no. But the long and the short of it is,
Yeah, I’m an instructor at NDD. I offer FREE Classes. But I guess because I haven’t done anything in SL as far as win a big contest or kiss someone’s ass, I’m a nobody.

        • Hello…Tis me Belladonna Wexhome, the woman with a backbone who isn’t afraid to sign her name. Do i have experience with runway modeling. Hell no I don’t. Never claimed to actually. I, as of now, am strictly a print model and an established and syndicated fashion blogger. Do I have anything to do with the agency or academy when it comes to teaching or recruiting. HELL NO. I am Chief Operating Officer. For those who don’t know Business 101 the COO handles the business side of things. Getting schedules worked out, making sure people get paid in lieu of a CFO. Doing the marketing, contacts sponsors. My 10 plus years in business and another 20 plus years in the arts in RL makes me qualified for THAT. Another thing….Showtoons1239 Zaks who has been an accomplished runway/print model on SL for YEARS is MY mentor. I am NOT hers. So that’s fact # 2 that you go wrong. Our Model Director and also one of the instructors for our classes is actually the Face of Chop Zuey 2012 and has modeled/worked for Egoisme amongst other designers. Apparently you know nothing about the SL Fashion world, cause if you did, you would know the name Sessie16, Aradia Mistwood and others. As for Miss Brink, yes from what I understand she did attend CWS…I do NOT agree with CWS or how they run their school. What I DO know, is that Ms. Brink has worked incredibly hard for NDD and is a valued asset to our team. If you would read her profile you will also see that she has attended and graduated from schools OTHER than CWS. I have no issue with the MVW organization. IN fact may people i consider dear friends are walking this year and I happen to like and respect Mr. Mills very much for what he has created and I hope to attend MVW academy myself one day because I have heard the training is EXCELLENT for those who chose to put in the WORK, but there are models who do chose to not go the MVW route, and they are still working models and still known their stuff and the information they have to share is still valuable.

So to the anonymous, spineless troll who posted this. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for the free publicity. THANK YOU for letting me know that NDD’s name is out there. And i encourage anyone on sl interested in NDD to come and hop in my box….hop in Sessies, hop in Aradia’s hop in Selina’s hop in Zaks box and ask us about it. These are some of the most talented and friendly woman i know and they would be THRILLED to answer any questions anyone may have. So I leave you now, mister or miss troll and I bid you a good day. I will think no more of you, but i can guarantee, you will be thinking of me….people like you have to have the last word and i will be more than happy to let you spew your ignorance around…just want everyone to know that it is just that…ignorance and jealousy. (I apologize for any spelling and/or grammatical mistakes I have made…just to make sure you don’t attack me for that…since that’s what trolls on the internet do when their argument has been shot to shit.)

Belladonna Wexhome – CEO Fashion Inc, Live Model: PurpleMoon Creations, Blogger – BellaUnbound Says:

            July 10, 2012 at 11:02 pm
“Ok First off…as a student and mentor of Showtoons….who is by the way a fellow live model with me at PurpleMoon (you know one of the biggest high fashion houses in sl) and she is also a Bliss Couture Model (you know one of the OTHER biggest high fashion/couture houses in sl), i have learned an incredible amount of what it takes to be a runway model in sl. I am looking forward to the formal classes at NDD.”

Ooops, guess you forgot you wrote that under the Classic with Style page (ROFL). As for this entire thread about NDD, NO ONE said they had never heard of Sessie16 or Aradia. NO ONE said that!!! In fact, this was written about Sessie16,

“The ONLY one on the list of “employees” who warrants ANY merit at this point is, Sessie16.”

Additionally, you went off on this whole tangent about MVW and NO ONE mentioned that at all!!! Are you selling us or yourself?

I think you’re the ONLY one on here who’s mixed up on facts sweetie!!! You’re not really selling yourself as a good COO darlin’. As for your assumption ANY OF THIS is positive advertisement for NDD, you might want to rethink that too. You aren’t making their case baby girl!!! Actually, you kind of made it worse.

        • NDD really? Says:

You have “walked a real life runway?” Sure you have (LMAO). If it doesn’t “make you anything” why mention it here at all? Hmm, “grand scale?” Let me spell it out for you, are any of you a Mimmi Boa, BlackBarbie Bravin, Anna Sapphire, Draakje Dailey, etc…? NO!!! You got the last part right though!!!

          • Aradia Mistwood Says:

Sign your name or talk to me inworld. I’d be happy to show you photos of me in my 20s walking runways in New York.
Again, Who are those people? People who sit down and log into a computer. People who have access to the same skins, hair, you name it as the rest of us. It makes them NOTHING SPECIAL. They are, at the end of the day, Human beings who log in and out of a computer based game. You need a serious reality check… and Mimmi, Anna, Draakje or Barbie would tell you that was well.

          • Ugh I said I wouldn’t post again on this thread and I lied. Cause yup…Yup, you got me, I mistakenly typed “mentor” instead of mentee or protege. In my profile in world it’s quite clear she is MY mentor. I admit I made a mistake. OMG I AM HUMAN. (And FYI, hate to burst your little bubble but you were not the ONLY troll I was talking to in my post. You have a spineless twin who also posted anonymously).

And all you admit to by your anonymous postings are two things…. You are familiar with the talented models in the MVW organization (and all very sweet wonderful women who i learn from everyday)…how about others? You attacked me for mentioning MVW. The ONLY reason i brought up MVW is to point out there are models out there WHO DO NOT GO THE MVW route, and they are still amazing and talented stylists and models on the runway. You just proved that all you know are models in the MVW organization. Which makes me believe you are either a noobie model in that organization who got, in your mind, unfairly treated by the woman of NDD, or you are a wanna be. I don’t know what you think I am trying to convince myself of, or what does it matter that I posted on the CWS site. I’m still confused about that. Look into the history of many WORKING models on sl. Many have taken classes at CWS. Just cause someone goes to (in my opinion) a bad school doesn’t make them a bad model…just like going to MVW or Mimmi Boa Academy does not guarantee you will be a good model.

And if we are such nobodies…how come you don’t post under your SL name? Surely such nobodies such as myself and Aradia and the women of NDD can’t do anything to you rep in world or have any impact on your sl modeling. So why the spineless trollish behavior? Why not admit to who you are IN WORLD (not like we are asking for a RL name…just your fake avatar name that is owned by Linden Labs). Because you know if you do…people will see you for what you really are. …you are a sad, bitter person. And honestly, my heart goes out to you. To be this bitter…to be this sad and to feel the need to spew hate and venom. Whoever you are in world, you won’t stay hidden for long. People like you….you can’t…your piss poor the world owes me something attitude will always show through. Just like in RL, SL owes YOU NOTHING. I am going to continue to have a blast in sl, i am going to continue to model and learn and have fun in SL and work. That’s the most important thing to me. Not titles or tags..but having fun and being someone that people want to work with.

I will pray for you. I hope to god/dess you stop being so sad and bitter…you will find once you do….your RL and you SL will start to blossom. You get what you give threefold

          • Anonymous Says:

Lmao thanks for all of your professionalpsychiatric analysis, Dr. Belladonna.Get over your own hype!!!

    • First of all this is a new agency and hasnt had a chance to prove its worth. You base your knowledge of this agency on what? What information have you gathered to show that NDD has in no way shown that it can in fact merrit the attention and negativity you are heaping upon it. Every agency on the grid had to start somewhere.. and in fact had its own stumbling blocks and learning time period. This is a brand new agency not even off the ground yet and you are already trashing it and trying to block it from having a chance at succeeding.. my first thought would be to ask who are you and what exactly you have against the people in this agency to do such a thing?

      • NDD really? Says:

I think the criticism was clearly explained and you don’t always have to interject yourself into EVERY thread on this blog brittainy. The “information gathered” was obviously the NDD employee resumes, which doesn’t seriously qualify them to run an academy or agency of the caliber THEY are projecting and promoting!! It’s fairly simple, duh. No one is “trashing” or “blocking” anything. People will choose for themselves. I, and others have an opinion, just like you. We voiced it. Too bad it’s not all sunshine and light, like you. Grown up and get used to it! Why is it whenever someone comes on here and voices a candid opinion, YOU jump all over them and accuse them of having it out for them? Sorry, some people on here call a spade a spade. These people opened a business and put their names all over it. That’s life in the big show. I think the dubious nature of CWS has been widely reported on here and the FACT Janet Brink IS STILL an active participant and an active member of that place speaks volumes about NDD and their lack or good judgement. You have this Belladonna chick all over this blog site making some pretty odd and contradictory comments and a handful of marginally decent models, who now want to jump into the ring with the big dogs….well, buck up gals, because alls fair in love and business!

First of all Janet check your dates. While you’re sitting there padding your resume for us, you put down dates that haven’t even occurred yet.

Second, 90% of the “shows” you listed are CWS shows, which NO ONE attends but CWS idiots and their friends!!!! Not too impressive. As far as all of your extensive modeling work goes….where’s your print work? Where’s your loaded up Flickr page, overflowing with a complete catalog of your work? How come NONE of us has ever seen you at a casting? How come NONE of us have ever seen you work a REAL runway show? Where are all the contests OUTSIDE of CWS that you’ve won? Are you serious? Are you kidding? So you attended a few schools, I wouldn’t be bragging about CWS (LMFAO)?!!! So have a lot of people, that qualifies you for NOTHING!!!! Those lame a$$ CWS shows, qualify you for NOTHING!!! I’m glad you listed all of that garbage for yourself, because you’re hardly impressing any of us Ms. Brink!!!! Please do us a favor, stay at CWS you’re obviously right where you belong, amongst the delusional and the clueless

  40. I believe you missed the point. Kiss My Camera is NOT an agency. It does not belong in this listing, nor do I want to be associated with it. You are not a regulated business bureau so kindly remove it. Thank you.

  41. agencyreport Says:

AgencyReport has a similar policy on removing agencies/contests/businesses that other rate/opinion websites have. Which is, no we will not remove a business and it’s reviews once it has been listed. If your business is out in the public consumers, customers, clients, employees, etc are entitled to talk about it even if the business fails and is no longer running.

  42. What does it take to get removed from this site? I have requested this a month ago (see post of Oct 25th below) as well as sent a notecard to AgencyReport Zepp. I am not a modeling agency, have never been a modeling agency, I have retired my photography business for the time being to focus on other things. 71. Ms. Sinatra Photo contest Says:

What is with these contests for photos? They aren’t about who works hard to look good nor about who tries to be kind and gracious and a good model. They are about who has the most money to spend (or whose friends have the most money to spend) and they are about being popularity contests. Rather a silly and inane premise if you ask me….but then i think (after being a model for a year or so) that most modeling on sl is a lot of bull and a bunch of folk who have little or no self esteem and need something like modeling on sl to boost their egos. The winner of the Ms. Sinatra contest is always the one who gains the most lindens (which over half go to the sponsors) and who has a good amount of votes (which if you pay folk enough they will vote. It has nothing to do with the standards of what models should live up to.

  73. Tia Ryba Says:

Please add Iam Modeling to the list. I was contacted today by a resident who was approached by one Fenicja Avril (the agency owner per her profile) and the girl was told she had a nice avitar and should be a model and would she like to join her agency. She was given an interview and an applicaition to complete with this clause in it

“For joining us clothes and photos and furniture you will HAVE to pay a fee of 1499L. Please put a cross “x” if you are able to pay the fee.”

This girl paid the 1499 to one Fenicja Avril, has yet to be invited to the group, had her im’s returned or anything. There is barely anything on this “owners” profile regarding this so called agency and I just want everyone to be on the look out and be careful. Do not pay an agency to *join* them. The agency does not pay for your *clothing and photos (typically)*. Clothing as you all know is given by the designers you model for.

This girl who was taken is not by any means *newbie* either, she had been in SL since May, 2007 and she feels very foolish that she got taken by this person.

There is a 2nd person listed on the applications one Ashley Briebers (the group owner).

Just an fyi folks, you know I don’t speak here often but I hate to see people taken and get nothing in return. I personally have offered this girl a full scholorship to TnT Modeling Academy should she so desire it 🙂

Yea i agree, i knew several models from there and while none of us know Simplicity Personally this is going a tad far.

Hai, i agree that people need to stop posting here about it.

If they want to professionally give pros- and cons about an agency like anywhere else – not a problem as this website is for that.

Modeling is a fun way to get free decent clothing in SL.

  109. Anonymous Says:

Reports of Simplicity and Synthetyc Summers have been supposedly claimed as legal threats, and it has been said they should be removed from the site. As a former-ex model of hers i would hate to see anyone else who has worked for her go down for legal action from a meer misunderstanding.

This is just a bit too dramatic i guess, as SL is just a form of enjoymment, a game and a source of minor income to support in game fun.

  110. Anonymous Says:

The SL Beter Biz is down, is there a way to report on the Gothic Fashion Fair? Simplicity’s owner defamed, and caused drama for several communities on Second Life. Synthetyc kicked out five asian fashion vendors out of a PAID stall because she didnt beleive Asian fashion was gothic. She accused several vendors of content theft, and used big name designer Rfyre as an excuse to throw us at the back of the theatre. She has still not given us our complete refund for the stall, and i think this is unfair. Her modeling business tends to be a laughing stock to the rest of Second Life. As popular as she supposedly is, a lot of big name people have never heard of her. Japanese and Visual Asian communities have started Boycotting Simplicity’s fair on October 23rd.

I am curious why there are so many comments here in “Add and agency” about SL Fashion Critique rather than in the Tread by that name? It seems to me that continuity is lost by having these comments in different threads. I didn’t know about the posts in this thread until after I had posted in the SL Fashion Critique “main” thread.

Another comments she has made recently about “heel clicks” makes me chuckle? Why would anyone have the sound slider turned up at a fashion show? Who wants to hear all the gesture sounds interrupting the stream?

  131. Its about time Says:

I go to fashion shows and notice all of the mistakes and styling flaws myself. I enjoy doing this, but I keep it to my self. No one regulates any agency accept the owners. So when comments on how a change needs to be made people get pissed off. Everyone knows to keep your hands out of your skirts. The also know to turn off the click noise on heals. You never turn your body so your torso is twisted or put your hands in your face. These are basic rules and some models have forgotten that. This is a reminder to keep on top of your game. No agency is perfect and they can all be improved. If someone want to take pictures and comment on a show then do it. No you don’t need permission. Consider this constructive feed back and fix the problem.

  132. pystar Says:

Like everyone I was appalled to see the content in the Fashioncritiques blog. And even more surprised to find out that I was making a packet out of the StarWaker group. This person obviously has access to information that the people written about don’t even know themselves. As this person is happy and obviously having great fun in publishing this rubbish why can’t he or she divulge his identity, as said previously, and give people the chance to reply to the comments made. In my case I would love to see the proof in my sl account that I am making a packet. My *sMileS* would be bigger than anyone has ever seen before.

All I have to say to you is that you have laid your bed and now you will have to sleep in it. Your blog has been a success and unfortunately we have contributed to that however, unproven accusations and false images are also your downfall. There are so many other sl blogs to visit and I think that you will find that people will visit those rather than continue to read your rubbish. Your success, which is what you have thrived for will be short lived!

  133. Anonymous Says:

Please add NEW FACES MODELING to this site, she’s asking for 1000K upfront to join her agency.

  134. Kurvy Rhode Says:

Just a quick note about the fashioncritiquesl blog: while some of the things posted can possibly be accurate (it’s hard to tell from pics alone because pics can be very deceiving) the approach is all wrong. Some comments are pretty nasty and the fact that this person(s) (I firmly believe this is more than one person. Read all the posts and you can see the difference in writing quality/style) hides her/his/their identities is pretty sad. Not a soul will take this blog seriously unless you can show that your opinion actually counts. I also want to make a specific observation regarding Rico from the TOMA post; it is obvious that he is “hobbited” due to loading/rezzing issues. The fact that his attachments are so huge and his necklace is in his ears proves this. I have no doubt that to him, he looked just fine. So seriously people, don’t take this blog so seriously, cause I guarantee you nobody who matters is.

  135. Diaphoni Galicia Says:

Well I know it’s not you or me, Anita, we both take better photos than that.
I think the SLFC needs to get a faster video processor or a new computer or possibly just stop.

Completely agree with you Herra, I was quite shocked at some of the bigger names they tore up on their little blog. It makes me curious as to who they are and what they have accomplished, because they obviously think they are the best thing in SL.

  136. Anonymous Says:

A|E Productions, pleaase add that agency 🙂

  137. Amanda Hinchcliffe Says:

Also if you read further back in her blog she trashes Anita Claven. Now I am not saying I am defending Anita, and I am not saying that I am not defending her.

But, that is not what a critique does. They do NOT badmouth people for having things in their profile.

She also badmouths Pat Young, Starwalkers, EIMA, MVW, I could go on…and on…and on…

  138. Amanda Hinchcliffe -TOMA CEO Says:

I cannot say how grateful I am for all of you to defend TOMA. 🙂

That blog “http://fashioncritiquesl.blogspot.com/” is total rubbish. And I am not just saying that because they trashed my agency and my models, I am saying that because they trash so many amazing people & places. Also, to be a critic, you have to critique…they don’t critique, they BAD MOUTH. Also, it isn’t very polite to post pictures without the models’, the agency owner’s, and the mall owner’s consent. 🙂

I will go through and counter her rude comments.

LMAO. First with the name…what is so terrible about TOMA? It is original, unique. The Other Modeling Agency is a pun…ie: “Where is the fashion show? It is at The ‘Other’ Modeling Agency” or “Where do you model? The ‘Other’ Modeling Agency”

First was Amber. Ok, people under stand the transparency issues, don’t make a big deal out of it. It isn’t always easy to find shoes that don’t do it. Also, that could very well be YOUR GRAPHICS CARD!

She trashes Ellekirsten for shoes next. Again, YOUR GRAPHICS CARD! Anyways, it is a swimwear show, not a shoe show, people look at the swimsuits!

Next, Ipkiss…her shape is fine, seriously, maybe she doesn’t want to be 6-feet tall and thin? You bag for what happens between poses, LAG, lag is unbeatable. The last pose, what is wrong with it?

Oh no! Mariella used a “bad walk”, maybe you should sue her, put her on death row… Seriously, that is just rude. Then you bag her for having a common look, but yet you bag me & Ipkiss for trying to be uncommon? Also, you say again “not for me to tell how” Maybe that is because you don’t know how?

You are completely blind about Rico. You can ask any model that has seen him model, or who has worked with him, he is an outstanding model! Reason he is “top model” at many places, and was “Model of the Month” at TOMA!

OMG! You finally complimented someone! *faints dead away from shock*

Clif is an amazing model as well, as would say someone REAL in the fashion industry, such as JD Hansen of JCNY, who has picked Clif as Showcase model SEVERAL times!Seriously, he is an awesome model.

Do not take the “SL – Fashion Critique” blog seriously, it is RUBBISH.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

    XOXO
Amanda Hinchcliffe – The Other CEO

  139. Jen Tafler Says:

I agree with Herra, this website and the blogger are uncaring in their postings. There are a number of posting about models in shows I did not attend but I was at the TOMA Summer fashion show.

With regards to wearing the prim invisible shoes, it is a SL situation which I’m sure is not going to be fixed anytime soon. However, its not hard to edit a picture (in Gimp, which is free) and blend the floor to cover the transparency of the feet. For color matching, its quite simple to get as close as possible to your leg/ankle color. Go Advanced, UI, Show color under cursor. Then, where ever your mouse pointer is there is a 3 numbered code at the bottom of your screen. Input these numbers in the advanced color input on the shoe menu and whola. If you have a 2 digit number in this sequence, put a zero befor it.

As for lag, nothing we can do here except work with it and do the best we can. When using huddles and such, it can play havoc with these. But I think most people realize this and are open minded and understanding.

Although I do not know the female models well, I felt how they presented themselves on the runway was good. Being a female model in SL is challenging in that you need to be different to be noticed and anything one can do and still look great in an outfit is worth more than thousand words. As for the walk, ya, its new, maybe a little to swingy in the hips, but it was great to see how it looked on the runway. I would think rather than blasting the model, maybe sending a nice comment to the designer asking if it could be reworked. Oh and for Mariella on the eyelashes…love the flower. : )

As for the males, I thought they all did incredibly well. RicoRacer is one of my best friends in SL. And trust me, we help each other and are brutally honest when we get each other’s opinions. LOL Not once did I see a disfiguration on his avi. I wonder what viewer/system/camera the blogger/photographer was using. If anyone else saw what was posted, please let me know cause I sure didn’t see it. Although I do not know Clif well, I thought he did good too. It is a work of art to blend and use modeling animations and poses together and this will come in time. We never stop learning. This is shown by the other models Stato, Tigre, Brecken and Jens. They are great models, most definately, and RicoRacer and Clif will be there as well with hard work and dedication.

My hats off to TOMA for a great show, thank you for making the time spent well worth it. : ))

One more thing, if a post is marked anonymous or is vague on who the person is, I dont recommend taking it seriously – to anyone.

  140. Anita Claven Says:

Completely agree with you Herra, I was quite shocked at some of the bigger names they tore up on their little blog. It makes me curious as to who they are and what they have accomplished, because they obviously think they are the best thing in SL.

  141. Herra Says:

Can someone please add http://fashioncritiquesl.blogspot.com/ website. Because this site is total BS written by an anonymous person. Ok, yeah, I know so are 90% of the comments made at this website, HOWEVER….at least when a person or agency is being ragged upon, someone can fight back the charges. This ‘Fashion Critiques’ website is sololy the opinion of one person and NOWHERE did I find a place that I could write back about the total CRAP I was reading in there.

This person attends fashion shows and then writes down mostly critiques of every model on the runway. Has this person ever bothered to try walking a runway show. Many of the ‘issues’ this person complained about were more lag related than the fault of the model. Although a few times there were just total rips on models for their ‘bad shape’, ‘bad hair’ (which btw, did you think perhaps it might not have loaded right because this critic has a shitty graphics card? Oh hell no – clearly it’s the model’s fault).

And finally the guy (or gal), ripped apart Starwalker’s Pat Young and her contest and the $50L joining fee for the group. I was well aware when Pat put this fee out and the reason. One of the things it does, is prevent scammers from ‘group jumping’ and scamming on the members of the group. Something you find too common places in model groups like ‘SL Models’. And the fact that this money is going directly back to the winner of a great contest shows that Pat isn’t out to make money off of us.

I say that this so-called Fashion Critic needs to either post their name on their blog or at least open it up to posting replies so we have a chance to fight back from some of these insane comments.

I would like to say many of us owe a thanks to Joie Arai for our beginings in the field of Modeling. She took a chance on us and brought us into the Arai Agency with no previous background or training. For that reason alone Arai deserves to be listed here.
On another note. Diversity is not a branch off of Arai. Yes we come from Arai and are still friends with Arai and cheer each other on. I personally learned alot from Joie Arai on how to develop an Agency and train models. Diversity began in August of 2008 before Arai closed its doors. We are happy to hear that it has once again opened and have taken to the Runway.

  164. Despite we are not a modeling agency in the terms known in SL we are developing our members as models and for free. Why I dont call us an Agency; because we dont charge, we dont have those specific standards other agencies have and we request any model to be a member of our group. We do by monthly and sometimes montly fashion shows just for our approved designers; and the members are the models we use. I train them very fast; give them advice on shape proportions and about other hints important in this career.

My specialty is doing really difficult walks and to make a fashion show look like a RL one. the only thing i cant use for now is the voice.

Some of our girls already have achieved some of their goals being hired by other agencies and to be store Models. I hope they comment so you know who they are and what they achieved.

My reward and goal is that. That my models be seen by agencies and hire them. And even if nobody hire them of if they cant afford an agency; with me they will have work all the time. So they will got the experience, the exposure and the emotions of being in a runway. Some agencies come to me asking for models. Last time all the ones i sent were hired.

So i am here for those that dont have money to pay for modeling classes and that want to have this experience. So despite not being an agency perse; we would like to be listed as an option for a modeling career in SL. Our website for those that want to take a look is http://www.fashiontrendgroup.webs.com. Our group is the most unique and different advertisement group now in SL. Thanks.
