The reason this agency closed is because Rhonda Pennell had an affair with the owners husband. The owner lost track of the funds coming in from other models since he was busy with Rhonda. When the wife found out she quietly abandon the agency.

Sad… always a scandal with a model who ruins it for the rest of the models. The nerve of Rhonda to post here and act like she doesn’t have a clue what happened.

This isn’t a good agency anymore. It was looking to be a promising agency. Except when the linden means more than the people and trainers really don’t seem to care, they seem more into themselves than what is going on with students. You had your limelight a year ago now you are like the dime a dozen agencies.
There are good agencies out there keep looking. Don’t let the buck stop at Miramar. Read up on others go ask questions. A set fee is probably better and find out what you get first. Why should everyone pay differently? Think about it =)

  3. Miramar is not the only agency that asks you to commit to regular practises on the runway there is nothing wrong with that, and it seems that we do agree on the point that the practises are just that, rather than actual classes. I actually agree that those interested in joining should have some experience, but also I would like to emphasize again that anyone is welcome to ask for assistance in any way they require. Also I understand your concerns about the training phase being open-ended, but have so far not heard any complaints from anyone else regarding that point (I am merely one of the models, and not involved with managing the agency in any way other than writing scripts for some of the shows).
Please feel free to contact the agency’s owners in order to discuss any further concerns you may have:)

  4. Well you are welcome to ask any questions you might have during the runway practises, also they are not really meant to be classes such as you would have at an academy. Your information about each class costing L300 also is not correct:/ when I joined Miramar I paid only for the first two classes.
We recently had a very successful and impeccably presented show featuring Kungler’s wonderful designs, and the designers let us know that they were very happy with it. It seems, then, that Miramar must be doing something right:)
